Ok been a minute since I've blogged. Tried out my first christmas type m&p soaps. I used a way too much dye so the later is green or red but atleast its not staining. LOL I definatly can't sell these but I can give them away as secret santa gifts. I'll know better next time. I decided to use my jello mold with the christmas icons tree, star, and santa. I only made a star and a tree. The mold is made out of this hard plastic and the soaps were hard to remove but they came out pretty nice. I tried to use the stars as imbeds but they quickly melted. M&P soap kewls so fast though so I was trying to pour before it harded and I got soap all in my measuring cup. So my one star disappeared and the other got melted pretty good though you can barely see it since my soaps came out so dark. Atleast I got a nice swirl thing going on. I waited too long to do my xmas tree though. Most of the dye ended up in the center and the rest was clear. LOL. Oh well. I don't know what to do with this soap besides give it way. I'm not too happy with the bases they give off a odor thats kinda wierd and I added fragrance that doesn't seem to help. So I don't know if I buy any more base from them.
